PAUL VINER didn’t make the most of his syndicate ticket before lockdown - but this late catch was one he'll remember for a long time.

Paul visited on The Avenue, making amends on his last trip when it produced this 53 lb mirror.
Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands-based Paul, 48, recorded ‘Andy’s Fish’ for the first time over the 50 lb barrier. It hadn’t been caught for 23 months.
Paul offered a using a legered Mainline Milky Toffee pop-up boilie over Cell freebies.
Maintenance supervisor Paul said: “I didn’t have time to fish as much as I would have liked last season.
“Now I will be decorating and gardening so when the lakes reopen I’ll be like a greyhound out of the trap.”
