There a stacks of top tips here from top match angler Ben Fisk, using the pole to target carp and F1s up in the water.

Ben Fisk gets the fish feeding really well here by using a number of clever tricks, presenting Dynamite Baits pellets.
There’s more to this kind of fishing than many anglers realise, and Ben does not hold back in sharing the secrets of success.
He fishes very shallow, targeting the top foot or two of water, and keeps pinging in bait, and gently tapping the pole tip (where allowed), to draw fish into his swim.
“The ultimate aim is to keep those fish there,” noted Ben.
“The minute you stop feeding is the minute that those fish will go, and you’ll lose them, or they’ll drop deeper and are harder to catch.
“The shallower you can get those fish feeding, the easier they are to catch.”
The video was recorded at day ticket Brafferton Lakes in North Yorkshire.
